April Newsletter 2025

Greetings from Whole Circle Farms!

Spring has arrived in Oregon, and our farm is alive with energy. On my walk today, I marveled at delicate Trillium flowers pushing through the soil, their white petals signaling renewal. The fields are lush, fertile, and green—primed for the hemp season. Mushrooms are just beginning to pop up, adding their quiet magic to the landscape.

Our game camera recently captured a lively crew—possums, elk, a bear, a skunk, and even a bobcat—roaming our 25-acre forest. We’re proud to preserve this area as a habitat refuge for wildlife, ensuring they have a safe home amidst ours and neighboring farms.

For me, spring also means indulging my greatest passion: skiing. There’s nothing like trading a day of hard work on the farm for a sunny mountain ski day, breathing fresh air and carving turns alongside my husband and partner. It’s hands down the best thing in life.

With April 20th—420—fast approaching, we’re reflecting on its significance for cannabis and hemp culture. For many, 420 is a global celebration of cannabis and a call for legalization. Here at Whole Circle Farms, it’s deeply tied to our hemp journey. This day reminds us how far we’ve come: just ten years ago, cannabis in all forms was illegal in most places. Today, we see CBD transforming lives—easing anxiety, supporting PTSD recovery, soothing skin issues, and more. It’s nothing short of a game changer.

We’re thrilled to announce we’ll be at the Oregon Garden’s Earth Day event this Saturday in Silverton, Oregon. Click here for more information on the event on their website. If you’re nearby, swing by to say hello, sample our hemp teas, and explore our products. The Gardens are a stunning springtime treat—perfect for celebrating the season—and admission is free!

Here in Oregon, we’re grateful to grow and share hemp freely, especially when many states still face restrictive laws. This 420, we’re toasting to progress, possibility, and the plant that unites us.

Happy spring, and we hope to see you soon!

Warmly,
Rochelle
